- Provides one-on-one time with a Farmyard staff member

Livestock Program :
Beginning in late spring, children will be matched to a farm/farmer with their desired species. They will attend weekly, hand-on education classes learning the skills it takes to breed and manage these animals. The program incorporates local exhibitions (such as the Hereford Junior Farm Fair, Baltimore County 4H Fair, Mason Dixon Fair, York Fair, or Maryland State Fair) over the summer, where the child has the opportunity to participate in a live event, showing the animal they have worked with all spring/summer.
