How old are they?
These birds are processed at 10 weeks old.
What is their diet?
Within 24 hours of hatching, these chicks are fed a wholesome starter feed for 3-4 weeks. They are then transferred to grass to free range and enjoy a combination of feed and their choice of insects and natural greens.
What are the pickup details?
You can schedule “same-day pickup” the day they are processed (fresh birds) or schedule by appointment (frozen birds).
All birds should be picked up at The Farmyard during our general hours of operation or by appointment.
Cost
$4.95 per pound
The weight of chickens ranges from 3- 5 lbs.
Payment will be made at pickup with the exact weight of the bird.
