Update August 18th: Purchase a Pumpkin Life Cycle
We have created a Pumpkin Life Cycle Diagram for children to put together. The packet includes instructions and supplies. There are magnets for your children to hang their finished masterpiece.
Packets will be available in our red retail shed. You can stop in anytime during our hours of operation to purchase one. They are $10. Pumpkin Planters receive $2 off any educational Farmyard Fun Pack. This discount will be valid until Halloween.
There will be new packets released in September and October. Children will also be able to decorate their pumpkins during our Fall Days (10/3 or 10/24).
A limited number of packets will be available for $10. Children can learn the growth stages of a pumpkin while making their craft.
Hands-on experiences are the most memorable! Children plant their seeds in the beginning of July and can continue to check on their pumpkin throughout the summer. The pumpkins will be ready for harvest before Halloween and can be decorated at The Farmyard during our Farmyard Fall Days.
