STOP 3 : Buzzing with Baltimore Bee Company
- The Farmyard partnered with Baltimore Bee Company in 2019 and began hosting hives on the property in 2020
- In 2021 we hosted 7 hives (more than 1 million honeybees)
- Our diverse fields and garden plots led to more than 200lbs of honey collected this year
- Our annual Bee & Butterfly Bash provided guests with a hands-on honey harvest, activities for children, crafts, live music and more! Keep an eye out for next year’s date!
- Bottles of Farmyard honey are available at our retail shed
- Stay tuned for a new Farmyard children’s book about Beatrice, the bee!
