What a weekend! Despite the 20-minute thunderstorm that came through, Dairy Day was a huge success. Our guests had the opportunity to milk a cow, bottle feed a calf, take a picture with a heifer, make aqua art and more. We are amazed by the number of families who participated. We even ran out of eggs! Luckily, we are preparing for 60 more of our chickens to begin laying in the following weeks. As for the next “big thing” at The Farmyard, we are watching our sunflowers grow and our zinnias begin to bloom! We hope our first garden of zinnias will be ready for everyone to pick from by the middle of July!
